Eyelid Surgery

Even after a great night’s sleep, your eyes may still look tired and the lids may appear droopy. Each year, thousands of men and women choose eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, to help restore a more energetic and youthful appearance. Dr. Lorenc’s approach corrects sagging eyelids, removes fatty pouches and excess skin.
Eyelid surgery can have a dramatic effect on the way you look, and Dr. Lorenc frequently performs this procedure in conjunction with other facial surgery such as a facelift or brow lift. To correct extra skin and fat of the upper eyelids, he places fine incisions in the crease above each eye, and removes a thin crescent of excess skin and muscle. To remove fatty deposits beneath the eyes, incisions are placed on the inside of the lower eyelids. After the fat is removed the small incisions are left to heal naturally. When excess skin and muscle are removed from the lower lids, the incisions are placed in the natural “smile” creases below the lash line for a natural look without signs of intervention.
