Fat Transfer

Fat transplantation can be done by harvesting your adipose (fat) cells from one area of your body and injecting them into a depressed dermal area that may lack sufficient volume, such as the face. This safe, long lasting, non-allergenic injectable therapy does not require pre-testing, as they are your own fat cells. The procedure is designed to restore elasticity, volume and smoothness. Fat injections are ideal for nasolabial folds around the mouth, lines above the lips, frown lines between the brows, scars and lip augmentation. This treatment may also be used to enhance cheekbones and increase definition of the chin and jaw line.

Typically one or more fat injection treatments are required to achieve a long lasting correction. After the first treatment, you will see a marked difference. Each additional fat transplantation treatment provides greater improvement.

Fat grafting can be performed during other surgical procedures, such as liposuction or a facelift, or as a standalone procedure using local anesthesia. Dr. Lorenc obtains fatty tissue with a syringe from your tummy, hips or thighs. Upon immediate processing under stringently sterile conditions, the harvested fat cells are ready for your treatment by injection. Multiple areas can be treated in one session, and the most common areas are cheeks, lips, chin, as well as the breast and buttock areas.
