Juvéderm®

Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid that is FDA approved for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds or “smile lines”.

Juvederm has multiple formulations (Ultra, Ultra Plus, and XC). Juvederm Ultra Plus® is a thicker formulation that is made for deeper and more severe facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm Ultra® is a silkier formulation which contains a finer molecule and does very well in enhancement of the lips or filling fine wrinkles. Juvederm XC® formulations of both products have added lidocaine, an anesthetic which makes the injection more comfortable.

The results of Juvederm® injections typically last from six to eight months.
