Brow Lift

What is a Brow Lift?

For patients who are looking for a solution with longevity, Dr. Lorenc recommends an endoscopic brow lift (also known as a forehead lift), a surgical procedure he pioneered more than twenty years ago. This type of brow lift can tighten and lift lax skin in the upper portion of the face.

Who is an Ideal Candidate?

A brow/forehead lift may be right for you if you experience droopy or low eyebrows. An eyebrow with a “hood” can be corrected with brow lift surgery. The deep lines across your forehead and the frown lines between the eyebrows can be improved with a brow lift.

What to Expect during the Procedure

Incisions are placed within the hairline, making scarring inconspicuous when the incision sites heal. An endoscope is used, then the muscles are elevated and tightened in the brow and temple region. IV sedation is used to reduce any pain.

Recovery Process

A helmet dressing is worn for 48 hours post-surgery. After 7-10 days, sutures or staples will be removed, and the patient may return to normal daily activity. Strenuous activity and any lifting should be avoided until cleared by Dr. Lorenc. Patients may continue to experience swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort for several days. The results are long-lasting.
