Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Preparing For Surgery

Now that you've decided on aesthetic plastic surgery, you will find that Dr. Lorenc and his service minded staff are totally attuned to your concerns and comfort. Their goal is to listen and guide you through all the variables you must consider from consultation through surgery and aftercare.

Two weeks prior to surgery, you must obtain medical clearance from a physician to assess your general health and determine any underlying condition that could compromise your recovery.

During this time, an appointment will be made for you with a professional medical photographer to have pre-operative photographs taken.

On the Day of Surgery

Should you opt to have your procedure as an ambulatory patient at Dr. Lorenc's surgical facility, he may recommend a private duty nurse to care of you in the early stages of your recovery.

Immediately following surgery any discomfort can be managed with medication that Dr. Lorenc will prescribe. He will recommend bed rest and suggest that you gradually ease back into your normal schedule.

Your Recovery

The day after your procedure, Dr. Lorenc will see you at his office to observe your general well-being, remove any small drains at incision sites, check sutures and adjust your bandages.

Although you will be understandably anxious to see the changes in your appearance, Dr. Lorenc cautions that "positive results cannot be rushed.Exercise patience and adhere faithfully to post-operative instructions."

Healing is a progressive process. Within a week or ten days following surgery, many patients resume their daily routines. But with new confidence.Looking and feeling more youthfully vibrant, toned and refreshed.
