What is Calf Augmentation?

Calf augmentation with the use of implants has become a sought-after procedure by men and women alike. It improves not only in the volume of the main calf muscle but also its shape and positioning. These implants are soft, solid silicone and the design is such that it duplicates the shape of the two sides of the main calf muscle. After conferring with Dr. Lorenc, you will decide which shape, size, and location meets your physical ideal.

      • You have worked long and hard at the gym without seeing satisfactory results in your calf muscles.
      • You want to increase the size and shape of your calf muscle for a more masculine look.

      • Small incisions
      • Surgeon inserts the implants
      • Moderate recovery time

Calf Augmentation Procedure

For the calf augmentation procedure, you will be put under twilight anesthesia. The surgeon shall make a small incision at the back of each knee, in the natural crease. Afterward, he shall insert the soft implants to achieve the desired shape.

Recovery and Healing

After the surgery is complete, the patient will wear a compression sleeve or garment around each calf and will wear it for several days. The patient must avoid strenuous exercises and any lifting Dr. Lorenc gives clearance. Slight swelling may be present for up to three months but the visible rewards will soon follow.
